slow wd re 320

hi there
i have a problem with my western digital raid edition 320gb.
Sometimes when I am stressing my hdd(like copy files) the performance decreases dramatically...when I measure it with hd tune
I get around 4 Mb/s :eek:

When I shut down the PC and then boot again everything is back to normal with about 65Mb/s.

I am using the rig in my sig with the F5 bios...the other hdds...two 80GB and one 500 GB are not affected at all.

Is the problem, that I am using a raid edition without raid?

Go to

My computer -> Right Click Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> look for your SATA controller -> Righ click -> Properties -> Let windows choose speed.


Then set it to the speed what your HD is.
