k... i'm starting to get sick of these lines that are on my screen. they have been there for almost 2 years and i was too lazy to do anythign about it. now i'm gona ask here...lol.

anytime i play a game or play some movies i get these lines on my screen. they are the exact same lines every time they show up. they kinda look like this:

I'm guessing my card is really messed up... i probably have to get a new one. i just want to make sure.

Run memtest86+ and see if you get any errors.
Try reseating the HSF on your 9800pro.
Try underclocking your videocard 25mhz on core and 50mhz on the ram.

Is your 9800pro overclocked?

hurry up and take the HSF off and take another picture. Overheating problems is prolly want is causing these lines. (that's supposing you didn't destroy your card already.)

Put AS5 on the sink and put it back on witht he fan, then see if it works.. if it doesnt then your card is probably ruined.

i'd say try underclocking the videocard after applying AS5.

decrease core by 25mhz and video ram by 50mhz.
