I am in the process of shopping for a top of the line heatsink, hopefully, coupled with a 7 or 8k delta. I've heard that the delta sounds like a lawnmower to a dirtdevil. What am I expecting it to sound like and how far away do I have to be to not hear the darn thing? This is probably a cheesy request but if it is possible, could anyone with a delta record a small wav file of the sucker in action? I don't mind loud noises but I'd like to acquiant myself with it before I lose my hearing indefinitely.

HEHE, I have 6-80mm sunons in my case and 3 other nice size fans. 9 total
It's VERY load, start it up stand back and fix ur hair :P (my mom hates it)
And check out my temps =)
But I don't think it sounds like a delta screamer :P
