Hey Guys,

I looking for confirmation that I'm making the right choice. I'm wanting to get a new X38 mobo so I'll be ready for a shiny new Q9450 and new Nvidia 9xxx when they are released in January. I want to mildly oc it as I have my current setup. I want the X38 for PCIe 2.0(I dont need SLi) and for support of the 45nm quads. I have no interest in DDR3, Im not switching to DDR3 until the Nehalem Socket B/H come out.

Im confused by the price, the Maximus Formula seems to be the best choice hands down, better layout(no blocked SATA connectors), neat post screen, and several oc level leds. The Gigabyte GAx38dq6 does has eSata..not interested in this.

So have I chosen correctly:confused: I think the Maximus is right choice??

I want to order the new mobo in the next 2 weeks.

note Zipzoomfly is incorrectly showing the Maximus Formula SE as DDR3...its is not...its a DDR2 board.
