I've done all I know how to do.

I've reformatted both hard drives. Installed the latest 4 in 1's. Flashed my Bios to the latest version. Set the bios back to defaults and as many auto settings as possible.

My crusty old Diamond Viper V770 works just dandy....

It won't even post. Nothing. Well, the little heatsink fan spins up.

So, I'm giving up. I'm selling it. Adios. Bon Voyage. Hasta la vista, and VIA con Dios.

I've done all I can do, I can'ts do no more...

And my wife says no more Adult Language. So I'll be going to a Geforce asap.

I feel exactly the same way!!!

I'm trying to hold off tell their new drivers come out, but it's real hard. :mad:

Strange cause others are running the same card on via based boards. Strange indeed , sorry to see you have to lose the almighty 8500.

Hey would $200 take it??

as for the 8500, I don't think it's intrinsically bad. there just is some weird incompatibility with my system. I'm going to try a friends gf3 ti200 this weekend. if that doesn't work as well, I'm getting rid of the mobo. it's about the only thing left that I can think of. the weirdest thing of it is, my old v770 works. go figure.....:confused:
