View Full Version : Don't Buy Anthing From...
Don't by anything from http://www.a2zcomp.com I ordered an XP 1700+ processor and A-bit KG7-R mobo. They sent me a bad mobo (which I didn't know until I shipped it back with the cpu) then on the second shipment they sent me a bad CPU. They don't return your phone calls when you leave voice mail. They don't even return your phone call when you talk to someone and they say "I'll call you back before 5pm"

Welcome to the forum.
Check out http://www.resellerratings.com. You can read about other vendors and put in a word about this one.
FYI, we have a vendor area and one of the mods will probably move this to that area.
Indeed we will, Ridenow...
Moved post to "Vendor Discussion".

Folks, you simply must check out a prospective etailer's consumer satisfaction rating at www.resellerratings.com BEFORE you send them dime one. They're not perfect, nevertheless they are invaluable.
The lowest price for an item at Pricewatch means NOTHING. The lowest price for the item from a reputable reseller means something.
You now have the URL. See how well a2zcomp.com rates.

Very good advice from "Klosters 64". I just checked, found 2
ratings, 3.1---3.3.....Deal with a vendor w/decent rating!!!!
That's right. Lowest price sometimes mean lowest quality and service/support!

I just ordered a HDD from them:mad: It better work! I just read about their "Special Order" items over there. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING THEY SELL IS SPECIAL ORDER!! Anyways, here's their policy on "Special Order" items:
All Special Order items (i.e. discontinued, soon to be discontinued or proprietary items) are not refundable. If you are not sure if the item is returnable, please contact one of our sales associates at 800-983-8889 for further assistance prior to placing your order online. Also, please keep in mind when you are placing your order for a special order item, make sure it is compatible with your operating system and existing hardware components.
There will be no refund on special order items. No exceptions.
All defective special order items will have to be returned to the manufacturer for a replacement or exchange, depending on the manufacturer's policy. A2Z Computers power warranty does not cover special order items.
Thank you.
These people can't possibly have a customer base

Here we go! I got my hard drive today, and they sent me the wrong one. I ordered item# 6L060L3 and they sent me 6L060J3. The second L denotes Dynamic Fluid Bearings, a J is BB) NOW their 6L060L3 model is about $20 more than what I had ordered it. I talked to customer service and he said they shouldn't charge me the difference since it was a shipping error. We'll see:rolleyes: If they wanted, could they legally charge me the difference when they do an exchange for the correct item?
*EDIT* They JUSt changed the contents of my online receipt! It no longer has the item number!! I can't believe this crap!!
It was changed about 30-45 minutes after I submitted my RMA Request form. I previously saved and printed it out though:p These people are really devious.
