Need help on buing a CPU..

Im going to get a AMD 1600. Mainly my question is is there some wher i can buy it unlocked and with the best step??

And i was thinking of going with the dragon + mobo any coments on it?

No place I know of is advertising unlocked cpu's in the U.S.

Or you could just buy a mp 1600.

The DRAGON is a good board from what I've seen of it. If your not going to use the RAID and onboard NIC I'd save your money and get an EPOX or Shuttle. Good Luck.

thats for help. I dont think im going to use raid right way but i am going to NIC and maybe sound but i have a Hercules XP gamer sound card so unless im lazy i wont use that:}
