Apogee GTX Reassembly

So i took my GTX apart to put on my copper top. I put the oring in the new top and put it all together, buy my question is how tight do i make it?

seriously? if i crank it down like the the corners of the base bend up

Thats the point. the oring for the gtx is to make the top bow, as to get more fluid going through it. they come preassembled like this now.
