When I launch a game how do I know that my video card is in 3d clock mode?
And I have ATI overdrive enabled.

If you haven't messed with any program settings in ATI Tool or Riva Tuner it will switch to 3D Mode. If you just load up one of those programs it should have a chart of some sort, in which you can easily tell if its in 3D mode or not by viewing the temperatures of the GPU.. If it goes up its most certinaly in 3D mode.

Turn on the OSD in ATT and you can make it display the current speed (and temp and other things) of your gpu and its memory.
