Hi All:
First post to this forum, thanks in advance for any help.
I have a Pentium D machine which is acting up concerning the keyboard. On about 9 out of 10 boots it won't recognize the keyboard. Tried about 5 different keboards (all PS/2). Then I put a USB adapter on a keyboard thinking I outsmarted it. Still nothing EXCEPT when I hit the shut-down button which this keyboard happened to have the machine powered down?!
I removed the adapter and just for the heck of it put the KB back in the PS/2 port and it worked. Next power-up it was gone again.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
