Hi,

I'm just tryig to overlock my litte 3 667 to the limits, by using FSBs of 166MHz and above. At 166 MHz FSB I have two options:

1) PCI speed of 41 MHz and AGP speed of 82 MHz: works fine without problems!!

2) PCI speed of 31 MHz and AGP speed of 62 MHz: boots, but hangs on first windows screen, when you're asked to key in your password!!!!

Could it be possible, that the card can't work correctly @AGP speeds lower than the standard 66 MHz.
BTW, I had this cardup and running @ AGP speeds of 100 MHz+ withouit problems.

That's really strange!

Any help apreciated!

Thanks in advance

Ingo

Yes, underclocking the AGP/PCI bus can be as tricky as overclocking it...

If you can get the PCI bus at 31/agp 62, then can you raise the bus higher to offset the difference? Meaning, raise the FSB above 166mhz to pull the pci/agp to default speeds?

Yes I can!! The board is able to run @200 MHz FSB while PCI and AGP are either @37/74 or @30/60 (PCI/AGP).

But I think my Kyro II doesn't allow me to use that great feature. So I'll buy a Geforce II Ti 200, with 4ns RAM, that's enough for me and it only costs about 110 $ (240,-DM).

Thanks for the fast response
