I currently have 64mb of RAM and I need to know a good number to upgrade to. And tell me a good number that PC games need in order to run.

Hi gamerater, welcome to the Forum,
for me not less than 256Mb, preferribly using only one mem module, but more depends by the OS that you're using at the moment, coz for example, if I remember well, Win98 can use max 192Mb, Win98SE 256Mb, Win ME 384Mb, and Win2000 & XP all the ram that you want :)

I think i have the windows 98 second edition so ill check on how many slots i have for RAM

Windows 9x will get a lot more out of 128mb, but after that the cost/gain ration drops off. You can you use up to 384mb without difficulty though! After that, some say it runs fine but most say you need to edit the registry or the pc will run WORSE!

I'm running 256mb in my Win98se machine- runs pretty well.
