creative model CT6970 ????

I guy I work with brought me in this video card and a sound card today, told me I could have them both for five bucks. Without looking at them I told him I wasn't interested then the video card caught my EYE. It says its a CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY MODEL CT6970. I'm not sure but I think its one of the annihilator cards.

Does any know what this card is for sure and if the new det 4 drivers will work with them?

By the way I did buy them as it turns out the sound card is a turtle beach montego II a3d, not the greatest card but good enough for a back up.

Definately not a bad bundle for $5...I would've bought a few, haha.

Could I be wrong but isn't the CT6971 the Annihilator Pro (DDR) and the 6970 the SDRAM Annihilator? Anyway, good price you got.. The "pro" costed me in December 1999 570 CAD... w/o to count the 15% taxes.. I still have it.. and I'm freezing RTCW a lot .. grrr...

All Detonator XP drivers work fine on my 2K system, so does the Creative driver. With the only exception of RTCW that keeps on freezing with any driver (other OpenGL and Direct3D games are fine).

Thanks guys I'm in the process of putting on ram heatsinks and a pentium heatsink. I had to laugh i'll have more in the heatsinks then the card.
