Anything higher, and it freezes at the Windows loading screen.
How's that for air cooling? :D

nice dude... last yr when i got my e6600 up to 4.005ghz i ran a 12.609sec super pi 1m. doesnt it feel good to hit that 4ghz mark!
:( I can't get mine to 4Ghz no matter how much I try. 3.78 is the highest I can attain and it's not stable at those speeds.
Congrats on hitting the 4Ghz mark!
Can you give it any more voltage? :D

had same problem then upghraded the cooling

I tried. It's a no go. It's not getting anything above 75c either, so I know it's not heat related. I'm guessing it's my board. I'm happy with 3.6 though.

I'm not even near my max temp wise .. seems the chip wont do any more ..
I tried 1.68v vcore and still couldnt get it to stop freezing during boot ..
RAM was at 1:1 and loose timings ... so i dont think that was the problem ..
Guess I'll have to play with it more :D
