I'm using the basic version of 3DMARK 06, my ATI Radeon X1950 GT is at stock settings. I was wondeing is there a way to monitor the temp as it's testing?
The ATI software shows the temp but you can't run 3dMark and check it at the same time.
I know with CPU benchmarking different programs show slightly different temp at the same time, is the same true with graphic benchmarking? What other programs are there for graphic benchmarking
If I run the test and shut it down part way through I can get an idea of the temp which is about 44C, is this ok or should I be looking for something lower?

you can run riva tuner, open it before the bench, open temp monitoring, and it will give you a graph with a timeline

ati tray tools
in the options enable the OSD.
dig through the options there, and you will find where it lists temps, clocks, fps, cpu temps, etc. all available on an OSD while your game/benchmark is running

Stick your head in your case and put your tongue on the cpu if it sticks to the cpu instantly your too Hot! You want it somewhere between frying bacon and poached popping eggs sounds. :D
