Looks pretty cool if you are into the card games.
It's an interesting concept, that's for sure. I've always been a fan of CCGs like Magic and L5R, but this adds a new level to it, in that a) there is always somebody to play with and b) it looks a whole lot cooler. There is also c) in that it's genuinely hard to 'cheat'.
However, it was brought up on Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/the-eye-of-judgement-might-need-glasses-50670.phtml) that players may be able to kinda cheat, and print off their decks without paying for them. The players are still bound to the rules of the game, of course, but they're not exactly playing with legit cards, y'know?

I wonder what technology they'll come up with the counter the counterfit cards.
Its a pretty cool use of the Eye Toy. Never really had much use for it personally, but I can see a whole genre of interactive board/card games stemming from this that could be good and the camera is a simple enough technology that it can be ported to any system. Nintendo would make a killing off a Pokemon version and MS could fail miserably in Japan in a completely new genre:D
The whole 'hook a camera up to your gaming console' thing has always been a Sony property. I can't imagine that MS or Nintendo are actively considering it.
It might be cool to see some of my favourite CCGs come to life though. I'd love playing M:TG or L5R or something like Eye of Judgment, with all the cards 'coming to life' on screen. It would be very interesting. Most L5R games (well, good games) can take upwards of an hour to complete, which might make it a PITA.
