hey to all,new on here...
Anyone seen a good waterblock with fins and fan
that looks like it could handle a 100 watts or so?
I've read a lot and i'm gonna practice on my little baby duron but I'm still skeered of pump failure on a wc unit.I leave my junk on 24/7 doin seti so...you know. Muchas Grass for any help :)

Could you get to machinery to copy this? Sorry if this offends copywrite protectors, but for this much, I could chip in another $40 and buy a new processor.

It won't really help that much. A good waterblock can easily handle much more than 100W. I just measured the surface (opposite side from the CPU) temp of my WB, and it is 1.5c higher than ambient. Considering that you probably couldn't even get 1/2 a degree cooler on the outer surface of the waterblock, I would be surprised if you could get any noticable change at all in CPU temps. Save yourself $50, and get a regular waterblock.
As an alternative, use the slot A block on this page, and using a different clip mount your current hsf on top. You have to replace the hose barbs with 90 degree ones, and make sure you have room around the socket. Use a Arctic Silver/Alumina for the bond.
