hey guys i am finally putting together a system with the chip that truly red sent me. Here is my stuff:

Shuttle AK31
Radeon 7500
256 mb ddr
40 gig maxtor hd

and rest of the stuff is from my older computer like the cd burner etc.

So my question is : the chip i have is a T-bird classic 850 mhz. Now I do want to overclock it so what heatsink/fan do you guys suggest. Price is a factor. Also it would be nice if the heatsink could handle faster chips since i may upgrade the cpu in about a year.

So far i am thinking about the sk6 with an delta fan but people say that is loud so I am open to suggestions.....

btw if u heard a delta you would not want one trust me... i think its funny that lots of ppl buy these huge heatsinks and 7000 rpm fans for overclocking ability, only to realise that the noise in unbearable so take fan down to 7 volts and take away most of their overclocking ability..

i have a thermaltake volcano 6-cu+ it has a 7000 rpm fan on it. it is loud but certinly not unbearable and it gives me adaquate cooling but there are better coolers out there. i get around 47-50C when crunching seti
