Well I received a replacement 1.0Ghz TBird from AMD last week and I finally got around to unlocking it and putting it into my system tonight. It was a code I had never seen before (DYHJA). I have got it up and running at 1502mhz right now on stock voltage (1.75) and it hasn't even flinched. It seems like its got a bunch more in it since I haven't even had to up the voltage at all. I have it running Folding@Home to test stability and it hasn't shown any problems yet. Just wanted to give the community a heads up about this new code I will keep you guys up to date as I get it running faster and faster.

Wow sounds like a fun chip. Did you check the stepping a few times or with a magnifing glass cause that sounds like one of those AYHJA 1 Gigers?

Yeah I checked it a number of times because I figured it was a AYHJA too but it without a doubt starts with a D. I am still testing stability at 1.5 but frankly if it won't go any higher I will be quite happy with it.

I'll bet with a little more juice, it'll do 1.6, maybe a pelt or a vapochill... 1.7? 1.8?

lol I am hearing the voice quite a bit right now. I just am taking it nice and slow and checking stability because this is my only system and I don't want to hose it. I also think I need to redo my unlock job in the morning because it seems to only want to work on whole number multipliers. I am really hoping for 1.6ghz ... that doesn't seem too greedy of me :D

Well just wanted to give an update. It seems that it doesn't want to do 1.6ghz even with 1.85 volts. I wish I had talent at electrical stuff so I could do the volt mod and give it some more juice but I can't do that kind of stuff to save my life. Right now I am taking it up a little at a time and testing it with Prime95 to make sure its not giving any errors. I have it at 1.53ghz and 1.825volts right now. Even at this point I think its a hell of an overclock and I am quite pleased with it.

Congratulations. The volt mods aren't that bad, as long as you can sodder two wires together. Check out Doc's voltage mod thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44195) for more info. I'll be here dr00ling if you need me.
