You should be able to push 1000Mhz with your setup, but watch your temps like a hawk, I'm not so sure about the capabilities of that particular board. As far as I know that motherboard has been discontinued by AOpen. You can get the latest BIOS by clicking here. (http://www.aopen.com/scripts/util/ftplist.asp?pub/bios/ax6bc/ax6bc255.zip)
This is V2.55, it fixes a whole lot of things.

Intel lists max operating temperature for Celeron 800 at 80.c so you're perfectly safe at 32-36! As long as it is the CPU temperature we are talking of course, not the ambient. Ambient should not go above 45.c. http://support.intel.com/support/processors/celeron/24767.htm

Did the fan actually stop or something? If it did plug that sucker out...
You can hit more you know just that its going to need some cooling and abit of vcore adjustments and a little bit of luck since those Celeron 800 series are a beauty.

fan did not! stop it was program (MBM5) reporting that fan stopped, volts 0 and temp -119c IT is a demo version so I am thinking it may cut out after a certain time.
I reboot and all was normal,,,,has anyone ran into this problem????
tx in advance
Colin
NOW @ 980mhz 32deg c, voltage 1.73,

Sweet although you can probably pump more into that thing by upping some more since temperature in your case is not a problem. Although I don't know much about your motherboard I think it should do a fine job of overclocking as it is right now.
What heatsink fan are you using?
By the way I add you know you can go to User CP button above you and Edit Profile and add a signature it doesn't have to be done manually.
Looking at your sig I noticed it said p!!! Celeron
It is only a Celeron II and P3 and Celeron's are completely different chips.

I think all is well may just be happy at 980mhz

I see your in Ontario as well. I'm in Ottawa.
Anyways, usually overclockers have a syndrome so they try to get the best out of them.
People will go from lapping heatsinks, lapping core, to burn-ins and trying to get that "extra" and sometimes corrupting their window files.
hehe

do you think HSF is adequate???

Well if your temperatures are correct which I think they are.
Then really you don't need one. As long as you don't exceed a 45-50 Celius full load temperature.
