Just when I thought I found a card that I was 100% happy w/, now I'm only 90% happy w/ it. The fan on this thing is starting to make that old fan noise... that one where on occation it would sound like it's vibrating... and you know there is nothing you can do about it and it will only get worse over time....

I'm sad... The funny thing is I already have my Sapphire x1950pro 512meg card out on RMA right now because it didn't want to play nice in a crossfire setup w/ the HIS digital card. Per tech support "they are not harmonizing correctly" So I guess after I get my sapphire back I'll contact HIS to see about an RMA.... cries.

Ever try poking at the fan while it's on?
Sounds stupid but they'll either solve your problem / make it worse.
If the noise causing vibrations?

If you put aftermarket cooling on that you can get MUCH higher performance, you should be capable of hitting => then the clocks in my sig with lower thermal output, with them in crossfire you could test them independently then clock them slightly below the one which maxed out at whatever to ensure stability.

The pro's are a bit harder to overclock, but I'll try it.
