well it's a heatsink/fan.................it works okay for non OC'ing duties .......................

As you can see in my sig, I use a stock hsf on my XP1600@1900. It's works like a charm. But, I would definatley not consider this a great o/c fan. I'm running this thing in the high 40's and hits 50C. You really want your temps around mid 30's Celsius.

It's OK (but not great) as long as you don't use the thermal pad that comes with the HSF. Anything is better than the pad, and the stuff you can get at Radio Shack is just fine, if you can't wait for some AS2 or Nanotherm ICE.
