Hey guys,
Just got my second GTX and I'm running some tests here because I'm not that impressed with the SLI....
Just ran 3d Mark 06 on my comp....with SLI disabled...I get a 11083 on default settings....
with SLI enabled....I got a 13217.....
That doesnt seem like a giant step up at all, and when I run ATI tool, it says that one GPU is perform.... and the other is low power.....
but my specs are in my sig and everything is hooked up correctly....I feel like im missing something.
Thanks

if you wanna play games @ 2560x1536 or even 1920x1200 sli is for you, if your playing at a res lower than those with your current cpu you wont see much gain.

I am running at 1920*1200 and not seeing any improvement. With the Crysis demo, one card was getting me 25 fps which was definitely playable with everything on the highest settings except 3 things, and no AA.
With SLI, the same settings I get 7 fps. WTF.
I don't know. I keep looking for updates to install and I thought I have them all, but no luck still.

whats your e6600 clocked at?
with my e6600 clocked @ 3900MHz i can pull down over 16K with my GTS's in SLi (650/1000) - i think you might need to turn the CPU clocks up a little. the GTX's might be waiting on the CPU for the information.
if you have the GTX's at stock and the e6600 at stock, 13K seems like a reasonable score. turn the CPU clocks up and i think that score will blown up! i think you should beable to pull down over 17K -
You should post two other scroes from 3dmark rather than overall score. Also OS that you have, vista and xp with same hardware won't give you same score.

My e6600 was oc'ed to 3.14Ghz at the time. I mean its not a super big OC but it's significantly more than stock. That seems to be what I'm hearing in regard to cpu vs. GTX's so I'll try to up it some more. I just don't wanna get too high cause I'm on air, but I'll try to get it up to 3.4.
If I went quad how do you think I would do?

We need a CPU bottleneck sticky heh, maybe I'll propose one..
Lower your resolution. See if the FPS stays the same. If so, you are CPU limited.
