Hey,
I just looked through the OC database and I noticed ppl only clocked their 1900+ up to 1980MHZ or so but when I looked at the 1800+ there were alot of ppl who had FAR over 2200mhz (I think 24xx mhz was the highest)!
are these guys fakes or is it true that the 1800+ is far better for overclocking?

A couple of posts that I've seen say that the 1500+ is better than the 1800+. I don't know; I'm an Inteller for now. You could probably get a much better answer in the AMD CPU forum.
Try posting in the AMD section their many gurus in there that will help you out with your XP 1xxx+ questions.

some guy claimed to get 2.2 with air..im sorry, but i really dont believe that speed is in megahurtz, the answer to your question lies in the AMD PR ratings...2.4GHZ in that would be like 1.8-1.9GHZ...which i can easily swallow......

I dont believe it myself. the highest I saw was some guy OCing an 1900+ to 2058mhz with air. and this was also pretty unbelieveable, tho he has a pre-manufactured release without laser cuts between the bridges.
but I dont understand why 1800+'s would be better to overclock than 1900+'s
