as long as there is some kind air blowing on thim they should be just fine

good ram wont get hot enough for you to worry about it

Uhh why wouldn't you use it just be very careful.

Usually if you have good air flow then you shouldn't worry.

just dont cool them, as long at their is airflow in your case your ram will probably be cooled as well

The point is that the memory slots are situated just next to the harddrive bays (I have 2 harddrives) that generate quite some heat, and also much wires around, considering of moving my hd's above the PSU to get rid of the heat direcly (2 outblowing 80 fans above the PSU with a HD bay....

Ram shouldn't need to be cooled, but you could try the clip-style heatspreaders from thermaltake @ $10.

Or maybe stick an 80mm case fan to the bottom of your case, pointing up at the RAM? Don't hold me accountable for that one, just a random idea.

Try bundling up and stuffing all the wires outta the way as best you can.

What's your case airflow like? # fans and locations?

Well I'm quite sitisfied with my case flow.
2 x 80mm intake bottom front
2 x 80mm top rear outblowing (above PSU)
2 x 60mm rear outblowing (below PSU)
connected to a ON/OFF switch (front panel) soon hopefully a "Thermal Fan-Control Circuit" found on http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_thermalfans/
anybody tryied?
and of course CPU, PSU & chipset fan
ON OFF
CPU 44 55
MB 22 28
PSU 22 34
(All temps under full load & celsius with MBM 5. Room temp 22*C)
