More Radeon 8500 questions....

Ok with all these "horror" problems with games locking up..... I don't want to buy something thats like my Savage4....If you don't know about that card... If someone made a list of cards that locked up the most the Savage4 would be at the top of the list...

lol sorry I forgot to finnish...anyway How Stable is the card really? And plus how often does Ati release new drivers.... I do know it's less then Nvida...seems like they release new ones each week..

seems to be once a month....and from what ive heared the card is pretty stable and if youre running Win98 there arent too many problems...in Xp there are a little...

I am thinking that by the time you buy the 8500 you should not have to worry as you mentioned you did not plan to buy till after new year or early spring. mentioned in your other posts. you will be fine with the card.

my freind bought the radeon 8500 ($192) and he/we (i got to use it for a while) love it. beautiful games and no stability problems whatsoever. hes running win98se

wooo I'm loveing my New Avatar! I downloaded that Porsche for F1 2001... I took the screens one after the other..And i think it came out good! But I will do more work on it after I get back. Which will be after Chrismas.
