This is a nice trend with Circuit City - pricing new PC games at $39.99 instead of $49.99 for the week or so following a game's release.

Today's release is Gears of War for the PC, $39.99 in-store and on-line:

Unfortunately, the new Viva Pinata is horrible. It's a bunch of silly part games.

The next Viva Pinata that I'll play is the one for the DS, which is a copy of the original 360 game.

They are selective with that though, COD4 is regular price...

Unfortunately, the new Viva Pinata is horrible. It's a bunch of silly part games.

The next Viva Pinata that I'll play is the one for the DS, which is a copy of the original 360 game.

I wasnt talking about VP- Party Animals, i'm talking about the PC version of Viva Pinata that I linked to, which is a port of the 360 version.

i have GoW for 360 and loved it... is the PC one the same exact game if i play single-player?
also, are the graphics much better on the PC?

Five new single-player chapters have been added, as well as online co-op play and some new multiplayer maps. There's also a map editor, and in the copy I received today I received a one-month trial Games for Windows Live Gold.

Yes, the graphics in native 1920x1200 are excellent, provided that you have the right hardware. With the system in my sig, I'm getting a solid 60FPS at 1920x1200 with details maxed out.

Plus, who doesn't like mouse and keyboard controls?

the mouse and keyboard is the #1 part, and then the 1920x1200 is the second part. :)

how's are the Multiplayer numbers looking for GoW PC? plenty of people online or no?

is the max team size higher than it was on the 360?

this is definitely a good question!!! the 4v4 was great, but 6v6 may be more fun... if you go much higher than that, they need to add more weapon spawns.

if enough people are playing i will probably buy in. i absolutely love this game on the 360 but i was always held back by the gimpsticks being a PC FPS vet of 10+ years

what really bothered me was that some ppl bought the keyboard/mouse for the 360 and had an advantage!!

oh man... if i get this, it'll ruin the fun of playing on the 360 though... i like keyboard+mouse gaming better, but having a controller in your hand is a different thing, which can also be forgiving...

I heard this game is very buggy tons people having trouble installing it on win XP at least. If you got Vista maybe better.

I spent some time online in GoW last night, and it was a chorus of 13-year-olds shouting "powneD!!!!!" and obscenities which aren't appropriate here. Precisely why I don't do multiplayer on consoles.

GoW has potential online, but it won't be a huge hit.
