HELP! need audigy drivers quick!

hi all i just installed windowsXP and my audigy doesn't work, i downloaded the drivers from creative but they dont work! they refuses to install unless I install the original ones from the creative cd which i cannot install..does anyone know a way around this! I really need drivers for my sound card! thanks in advance!

hey man...... i iam so glad i caught you. Does it have a beeping sound when you try to play musc? If it does, you have to switch it around in a diifern't PCI slot. I called technical support and they got it through for me. Just switch it around in a couple different ports. that should do it.

Also............My audigy cd got stuck on 15% and wouldn't let me do it either. What I would do is copy the inforamtion from the cd to your hard drive so the inforamtion runs your hard drive and not your cd. 10X faster and it works. Good luck.

Well the Audigy takes awhile to install. I had the same problem with my Dragon+. I put in the audigy went to install it and it said not Audigy detected please install card and try again. So I drop it down one PCI slot and it now works.
