So I'm building my new gaming rig, and today the motherboard I was planning on getting, EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1, has disappeared from newegg altogether. Customer service just said that they are no longer carrying it, of course neglecting to give a reason why.

Does anyone have any insight to this, or a recommendation for a viable alternative for a 2x 8800gtx board other than the striker extreme? I've had great success with EVGA products, and I'd like to stick with newegg. I'm interested in any experiences had with the EVGA 122-CK-NF67-T1, seeing as how it's the best EVGA 680i board available from newegg.

wow they arent available at clubit or mwave either.i assume they are switching over to the 780i boards.you may want to wait for them to come out if you can.
i cant say what the nf67 is capable of unfortunately.

i just picked up the EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1 (680i) from tigerdirect - i posted over at eVGA forums and a couple of the Mods over there said the boards (A1, T1) are identical, the only thing different is the warrenty and pack materials (cables and whatnot)

over the last year or so i havent stuck with a single piece of hardware for more then 5 months (my asus p5n32e) so i'm thinking DDR3 and the next Nv chipset are in my future -

Have any idea on the eta of the 780i boards? I'm so close to getting this thing ready, the hard parts are paid for, I've spent way too much money on this thing and now a $200 component is holding me back, it's pretty aggravating.

just get the T1 board you will be fine  i read a rumor 780i has been delayed due to some issues, not sure what they are though...

ahh the NF68's are not longer in stock but the NF67-T1 and NF63-TR are in stock...

imo this is still a good choice but the ones to be after are the NF68's.

the ones at zzf are in stock, but does anyone know what's going on? Why would they all of a sudden remove such a popular motherboard?
