i want to make some ram blocks (like waterblocks but for ram) but i was wondering if they would be better on my normal memory or no my graphics card memory

oh the mobo memory is capable of doing up to 155MHz SRD
the graphics card ram can do 550MHz DDR

i've designed a mount TEC/waterblock system (dual 60watt TECs, matching cold plates, unsure of size tho, and waterblocks to match) for my system memory.
I seriously doubt that blade runners ram block could be improved :(
Let me add that ram doesn't get that hot and ramsinks itself cools it pretty well.
Making all of that would be sort of cost and a waste.

That might be true. However, asking on numerous forums, it appears no one has done it yet, and all the opinions are based on assumptions. Let me just quickly point out that by actively cooling my system memory with a TEC (And a matching waterblock to cool just the TEC) will probably allow me to overclock 10 - 15mhz more. Im already actively cooling my northbridge with an 80watt TEC and insulation, and i think by cooling my memory in this fashion, not only will it lower the internal resistances, but allow me to overclock better with agressive settings, a higher fsb setting, and with a higher voltage.
Another reason is simply the challenge. This has cost me nothing but time to design the block, and the cost of materials (about 20 US). A mate of mine is more then happy to make these blocks/cold plates for me, and im more then happy to test them.
You wont know until you try

i have started them mown, wont be finished for a while thoug as i am going away
You can get tecs in about any size, would be interesting to see what tinytecs could do for an agp overclock.
Melcor carries my tiny ones, 15mm x 15mm 8watts 3.5 volts.

i doubt 8Watts would do much
