I have never heard of Galaxy. I have heard of the 8800gt though... I am assuming you are talking about Galaxy though.

I've heard of Galaxy before. They made low budget cards back in the day. Much like Matrox. First time i've seen them put out a high end card. Can't vouch for them tho as i've never had any Galaxy brand video card before. I would be cautious.

From what people are saying, there is only one manufacturer of the cards atm. So the only difference between them all is the warranty and top sticker/plate. Except maybe the Palit cards that have the totally different heatsink.

one manufacturer is a bit misleading. All manufactuers are however following the referance nvidia design (the "this is how we think you should do it" design), even down to the poor ram chips used
