the best place to have a fan is every where
get a few fans and place them so you have enev air flow going in and out of the cmputer, best palces are:
one or more in bottem front, blowing in
one in top blowing out
one or more in back blowing out
Basically case fans are suppose to be in this position:
Bottom Front = Intake
Top Back near the PSU = Exhaust
You should have an equal amount intaking and exhausting.
Just make sure you have good air flow through your system going through ide cables etc.
Wires shouldn't be dangling all over the system and dust shouldn't be in there keep the dust espically to a minimal.
Let me advise you that you should have 300cfm air flow in your system because it will help trust me.
