Anyone seen or heard this

It's regarding Alzheimer's and the beta amyloids that we have been working on. Not specifically about FAH but thought it was interesting none the less. anyway it's an old article and I'm surprised I haven't heard much about it, but here's the link.

Thanks Ploaf. Knowledge is motivational. So is age. I'm getting old enough to think about prevention of amyloid buildup. That's a large part of my interest in folding.

That's great news and all, but I'm allergic to ibuprophen!:eek: :( . It breaks me out with hives about a half hour after taking it.:rolleyes:

Anyway.. There was another comment about the overall usefulness of NSAIDs. These drugs are appearing to be effective for more than just pain relief and this is just the latest thing that I heard. Look at what we know about aspirin. Aside from all sorts of pain relief it can help with heart problems and has been shown to be effective in the prevention of certain cancers. Just good news. Now we need to get more people chipping in here so that we can find out why ibuprofen works. :)
