hello all
can someone please tell me if this is the north bridge heatsink?
Capture.JPG

if so is there a way of getting a fan on it or do thay sell something to cool it down ? not sure what the temp is on it. feels very hot.
motherboard is a asus p5n-e sli , not much room left by it cause i have a ninja cpu cooler . it takes up a lot of space,
thanks mike

That would be the northbridge. Sometimes you are able to put a fan on them and other times you can replace the heatsink itself with a better one.

ok thanks so much for your help .
is there any software out there to monitor the temps on it ?
i got speedfan but it don't tell you whats it's monitoring ( temp 1 , temp2 ) and so on
thanks again mike

thanks mike
