Is there no compatibility? I would like to take a reading before I upgrade to a RAID setup...

Use HD tune, I have the same problem with HD tach, there maybe a version that works though

Just run it in XP Compatability mode...

It tells me I need admin rights if I try to run it before I restart. XP comp and Run as Admin. It will work.

Yep, works just fine if you run in XP compatibility mode. Here's my (pretty junky) RAID0 array in Vista 32bit on HD Tach:

I think he wanted to show us he had Vista with the sidebar and all. :)
