I wanted to hook my xbox up to my 22" lcd. I am getting the vga cable for it since I don't have hdmi. Will I be able to hook up the dvi cable to my computer and the analog cable to the xbox at the same time? How will it switch between the xbox and the pc? Thanks for your time.

Most LCD's have both an analog and a digital input. For instance, my computer is connected through DVI, whereas my 360 is connected through VGA. But if you can't, buy (or find, as most video cards come with this) a DVI-VGA adapter. The VGA cable for the 360 comes with a VGA coupler.
Your monitor might be able to switch outputs, but for the most part I think if it's recieving no signal on one, it will automatically switch over to the other.

yeah, if its anything like my Westinghouse 22" LCm-22w3, then it will change to the input that a signal is coming from, but if its on the DVI, and then a signal comes through the VGA, then you have to stop the DVI signal for the monitor to switch to the VGA input.

Really? Mine has a button to switch between them, no cable removing necessary. Is there maybe a setting in your menu?
