Is the D-Link DGL-4500 (http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=643&#DGL-4500) router basically the same thing as the DIR-655? Main differences being the 5GHz band and game priority. Any other difference worth noting?
I just read that some wireless-n cards (Intel 4965) only utilize the 40MHz channel (required for speeds around 270-300Mbps) when using a 5GHz band.
Well, I just setup my DIR-655 last night lol :bang head
so, rather than buying a $50 wireless card on top of the $130 I spent for the router, I'm thinking I may just get the DGL-4500 tonight. There's the DIR-855 coming, but I need this done before 2008.
