Love my 7500, but since I have a child that turns 1 next month , I have been video taping alot via camcorder.
I want to now convert this onto a cd I can give the parents after I edit the tapes.
I can not afford to buy another 64 DDR vivo. Is the Rage Fury pro vivo model pretty much the same technology besides it being a 32 sdram card vs 64 ddr.
I would just have this card as my vivo card swapping it with my 7500 when I need it.
I am not really interested in buying a separate capture card, as I am thinking I can get used Rae Fury vivo or Rage Fury Pro vivo cheap if I look hard enough.
Feedback plz.

Anyone know if the ATI Tv wonder for Rage 128 can be used or added on to the 7500.
Also what would be benefit/differences of the ATI TV Wonder card vs Rage Fury Pro vivo as my solutions?

Well after some reading and research appears to be the ATI TV Wonder VE pci card thats my cheapest solution, here in Canada if I can find it it is $69, but they are all sold out everywhere I try.
I can get a Winsonic brand, anyone know much of these here is the link

The only problem with the VE is that it can't capture at the normal NTSC resolution.
I can't remember what its max capture was but it couldn't do the standard resolution.
If your planning on making CDs with video (VCDs) then the VE is fine, because you wouldn't make videos bigger than 320x240 because of disk space limitations....but if you want to kick it back out to a VHS tape(or 8mm, hi8, etc) then I suggest finding the TV-wonder(non VE) or try finding a used Pinacle card.
Good luck!

OHH I will be there but I may buy it today then get em to price match to save the hassle as I do not need to be spending any more cash there , I just bought a 40" Toshiba HDTV widescreen that is sooooooo sweet.
