Anybody still playing? I'm really just sold on the History Channel Documentary the guy through in for me. But I hear the campaign mode is pretty good. I intend to SLOWLY work my way through all the games that have been released in the past couple of months.

Starting with World in Conflict I'll pick up Crysis and Call of Duty 4 next. I should have everything (except Assasin's Creed) by christmas.

(The following is from 3-4 player LAN games against AI opponents)

I thought the concept was cool, but you are so limited on units in multiplayer it feels very restricting.

Play Infantry, buy like 4 or 5 units and thats it. If they live, and you wait long enough, maybe buy 2 more.

Game timers on default go really fast. Like 15min. By the time you figure out a strategy or try to accomplish something, game's over.

Visually, its awesome. Nukes will pound your computer the most, but look great.

Maybe I havent experienced it all yet, but for me it surely does not warrant all the A ratings its been getting.

I hear the single-player campaign is awesome though.

If you only play with a few people, you get access to everything. Besides, I like how they split everyone up - it forces teamwork in a genre where teamwork tends to come second.

I love this game. I haven't been playing it a lot because of Crysis and COD4, but I'll be getting back to it soon enough. I played is SO much. From the closed Beta, to open Beta, to MP demo to retail. I've spent a lot of hours in WIC. I love how you don't have to build anything. This is the best thing to ever happen to RTS games ever. It's the first and only RTS game that I've liked so far.

I was in the beta, that was fun. But I miss the base building and resource collecting a normal RTS would have.. :(

What you're missing from the retail is an incredible story.

I stil haven't received my history channel DVD yet.

They had two or three preorder boxes still lying around that had the history channel DVD inside, so they just gave me that. I had meant to preorder World in Conflict but I just never got around to it. Now I don't have to worry about that. :D

If you haven't gotten yours in all this time just shoot them an email and let them know.
