Quick question...tring to connect a home network...the router (netgear CG814wg) and the printer is a Brother MFC8460. This printer has an ethernet port. I have connected the printer directly to the router but cant seem to see the printer on the network...
Is there a way that I could see what IP addy may have been asigned to the printer without giving it a static IP address? The guy's labtop is running XP.
I wish I was there at the house where the printer is so I could do this myself but I'm helping someone else do it over the phone in another state. So any help would be nice.
