Would the Intel or the Gigabyte be better?

In total I've got a pair of 80gb and one 120gb, right now the 120 is solo on the Gigabyte (shared with IDE for 1 DVD/CDRW) and the 2 80s on the Intel in RAID-0 (boot disc).

Any other opinions?

intel... the other onboard raid controller is more then likly the Jmicron. which will not be as fast as the ICHXR on your board.

It's a Gigabyte GBB36X controller?

Edit:My Google-Fu weaksauce, J-Micron with a funny name.

Go with the intel...it has "intel matrix" which can slice your raid in such a way that the fastest parts of the hdd's are used...just read something about it, and don't quite remember what was said, but it looked Kewl...at least from what I understood.
Cheers,
Rod
