Background:
I've got an older computer currently being used as our Media computer (outputs movies to our HDTV), and when playing HD content (h/x264 @ high resolutions) it laggs pretty bad. It's currently got a 2.7 Celeron OC'ed to a 3.3 (120x27).
The question:
Can I use a MOBILE 3.06Mhz P4 Processor Northwood 533FSB with 1MB L2 Cache? Soyo's website says the motherboard will support all of that, but it doesn't state whether the 1MB L2 cache or the fact that it's a mobile (speedstep?) is going to be a problem...
Will this CPU work with this Motherboard?
