I should have 4x gigs PC2-8500 1066mhz ram in my computer I have cpu-z and it is reading it as PC-6400 ... How can I check to make sure, it's not written on the ram itself, Balistix ram.

What does it read in the RAM Frequency box? What is the default divider below the RAM Frequency box? Are you at stock settings?
Eg: My Ballistix 8500 reads 533 (2x266.7) with a automatic 1:2 divider resulting in 1066 1066MHz. This is out of the box run with a 680i mobo. 1066 effective FSB and C2Q6600.
My Ballistix had two groups of SPD's, one for PC26400 and one for PC28500. What about yours. Screenies are nice btw.
Also, is there any reason why it doesn't say the freq./model #/sn on your ram? Each stick is supposed to have a sticker or warantee is VOID. Like so: http://i4.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/c3/05/b73f_1.JPG

Overclock your RAM and see if it changes.

The SPD table doesn't change, that is stored in the memory.
The 'Memory Tab' shows what it's running at.
Times the value by two to get your effective speed.

Sorry, what am I missing? Did someone say the SPD changes?
