Major Problems with TUSL2/i815EP

my dad and i are stumped lets see.....First we installed Windows XP once and it worked then we installed the Intel App Accelerator and Installed the ASUS mobo drivers at the same time and then sometimes it would run windows fine, and sometimes it wouldnt boot into windows at all.....spewing random bsods with random errors......then one day it stopped working at all, then we reformatted an tried reinstalling XP and it didnt work...neither did 2000...so we said screw this and we formatted everything and then installed 98SE....no problems there...till we install the ASUS drivers.....now it won even boot...WHY???? Somebody please help me....:rolleyes: :confused:

I would have assumed whatever drivers came with XP would have been the most likely not to fail... why were you installing Asus drivers anyway? Something I need to know :confused:

Does everything run alright without those drivers installed? Have you benchmarked the system to see if it runs to spec?

Maybe Asus drivers include some ATA drivers or something.

well it wont let us install XP anymore so thats out the wqindow and it seemed to run fine...but the ASUS cd said that you MUST install these drivers in 98

bump...please help....could a mod move this to Intel Motherboars please?

update, my dad was able to get 98SE installed but no PCI devices work and he hasnt installed the video card yet...
