soo a few days ago they had a promo running..buy an hd-a3 HD-DVD player and get 10 movies free! (5 mail in, 2 in box, 3 via amazon) for $159..so i bought 3 players, picked out 9 movies..checked out and in my email comf i was charged about $30 per movies AND $177 per hd-dvd player (Their current price)..naturally i was ****ed, gave them a buz and they refunded me the price on all hd-dvds and the difference on each player PLUS $10..so final cost to me = $149 each..w/10 free movies each, simply amazing CS :soda:

did you pick the movies from their pre-selection or did you choose any 3 movies you wanted?
I know the 5 mail is a prelist. And it does take the full 10 weeks they say :/

It was a certain selection that Amazon listed, and they weren't all bad. We got Casino, Goodfellas, and Clockwork Orange along with an A30 player for $300 shipped. 300 and Bourne Identity come with the player. They you have to choose from the 5 freebies, which we managed to find a few there we liked.
Then later that day we found out about a buy 2 get one free and picked up March of the Penguins, Last Samuari, and Gods and Generals for $40 shipped :).
So for $340 we got a mid-level HD DVD player and 13 movies total. The movies paid for the player, although we probably wouldn't have bought a couple of the freebies.
