That is the question. Ready to build a new system but don't want to wait for months to build it. So is the 2200 with the new copper .13 process worth the wait. When is it launching and what is the expected price?

How hard is the Unlocking of the chips by means of glue and some Laquer trick, and is there a possiblity of CPU damage.
Read the reviews at TOms and they made it sound easy, but want a mortal opinion.

Take this for what it is but about four weeks ago, I seen a Throughbred processor (XP2200) on Anandtech I think which was a pic from a trade show but that Throughbred processor DID NOT have those pits between the bridges on L1 so overclocking could be fun once again!

I'd wait for the XP2200 since its gonna have WAY MORE overclocking potential over the XP2000.

If you buy the XP2000, your basically kicking your self in da teeth. Just my two cents.;)

Yeah I agree. Hope the pits are gone. That would be awesome. I think the only reason they are there is becasue the 1900XP and lower are on the .18Micron process and are running close to its limits, so to avoid any burn ups and replacements by AMD they made it harder to oc.
