Yeah, aside from beefing up the cooling and overclocking the core/memory buses you really don't have much of an out with that card. And even if you do get a good overclock out of it, you're still not going to get high performance.

But if you absolutely must, here's some advice.

Take that stock cooler from your CPU - yeah, the thing the company sent you with your CPU. Lap the base, get some AS2 epoxy and put it on there. Mod it to fit if need be. If you cant get AS2 epoxy, use regular AS2 or other thermal grease, but leave the 4 corners bare and use 3 small drops of superglue.

Get some thermaltake memory heatsinks and mount them. or else cut up some old CPU heatsink you have laying around and use AS2 epoxy or else the grease/superglue trick above.

Then install Powerstrip and overclock it as far as you can go without getting artifacts and tearing in 3DMark2K or 3DMark2K1 or else your favorite 3D game.

As a general tip I would suggest using OpenGL rendering in games where you can choose the renderer, such as UT. OpenGL will run much nicer than Direct3D on that generation of ATI cards.

If you opt for a new card I recommend the GF3 Ti200 or a GF2 Pro 64 MB, whichever you can afford.
