Sometimes explorer seems to hate me - no right clicking, very odd behavior - sometimes it's solved by ending and restarting the task, but I can't anymore, I get this...

Think its time for a Spyware and Virus Scan and may be a good old Defrag too, to cleanse the system

I should have mentioned that I've run a scan for virii and spyware, but I thought nobody would ask. I really think it's a Windows Playing Up due to Prolonged Uptime. Why explorer, an exe, can't figure out how to run itself, is beyond me...

have you chesen the program you want to use when you click on a certain program in the open with box that comes up? And if your sure thats what program you want to use to open the file you are clicking on and then choose the option to Always Use The Selected Program to OPen this Kind of file, just curious
