Ok call me an idoit. I accidently deleted the data folder for oblivion. No i can not even uninstall the damn thing. So i went into the reg and deleted all thing related to oblivion still shows on add/remove programs but when i go to uninstall it i get this message.

>SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (390)
PAPP:Oblivion
PVENDOR:Bethesda Software (http://www.Bethsoft.com)
PGUID:35CB6715-41F8-4F99-8881-6FC75BF054B0
$11.0.0.28844
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 232.64

So how do i re-install oblivion now? When i try to reinstall it, It installs fine but when i go to play it says that the program had a fatal error don't send or send the error to microsoft. How do i fix this.

Might have to delete the registry key if its still in there for oblivian but I think its a simple fix, find ALL the data oblivion put on your harddrive.

I remember it stores game data in 2 different file structures, so make sure you delete the main one that will be in program files/<maker of oblivion>/

But there is another one that stores game data files you need to delete. I forgot where its at though just start searching for bethsoft or somthing similar.

And remember: Next time back up any folder you plan to delete. (This reminds me I still need to get another key from 2k for Bioshock...)

Yea, i didnt plan on deleting it, it was by mistake. Well i re-installed it then i tried to play and the program fatal errored so i went to the add/remove programs and tried to remove it. It worked. Gonna try to install again and see if it works.
