Memory Help - just general questions

I have an Asrock 4coredual VSTA, so 2 DDR2 slots and a Q6600.

Can anyone advise on some reasonable memory for it, my usual PC shop sells at least 10 iterations of DDR2, and I'm just lost.

Q6600 has bus ratio 266 so for 1:1 ratio you would need just pc4200. Pc6400 is pretty cheap, doesn't limit overclocking and should be most obvious choice.

So 5300 should allow for a modest OC without any problems then?
